“ Had a real good experience here. Ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and the Teriyaki Beef. Both were delicious. Someone else in my party ordered the Shaggy Dog sushi and it was also good. If you are looking for a small Japanese Restaurant to stop at. It is here. On a side note, this is not a Hibachi grille, but do offer Hibachi style food. ”

“ We got a boat load of sushi (literally) at the newly opened Yokohamaya Tomball. We started with Gyoza and Spicy Garlic Edamame; my son loves both. The three of us split the Boat Deluxe - Raw-14 pieces of sushi (chef choice), 9 pieces of sashimi (chef choice), spicy salmon roll, shaggy dog roll and sakura roll. Everything was so fresh and delicious, we sank that boat like the titanic! Lol we are so full we are going to sink to the bottom of the ocean with very full bellies of goodness. We also got a Baked Avocado appetizer (stuffed with snow crab, shrimp and topped with eel sauce and spice mayo). I had a Sopparo Premium and a Asahi Super Dry beer. My wife got a couple glasses of Sauvignon Blanc. We had a bunch of friends of with us and between all of us tried a wide array of the menu. Just look at all the delicious pictures and then head there, because this place is the real deal and the sushi chef is amazing. Our server Michael was really great, knowledgeable and personable. The menu has more than sushi, they also have Hibachi, Yaki Soba, Udon, Ramen, Soups, Salads and Bento Boxes. ”

The staff is always friendly and attentive. Restaurant is always clean and soothing. The food is always fantastic and well portioned. Whether you're looking for a hot, soothing ramen or a cold, tasty sushi, they have a great variety. We made it our little tasty escape. They also offer several to go options. ”
